GREY... DIFFICULT PERIOD, FULL OF CHALLENGES

I can forget the period when I came to Australia one and a haft year ago. This is the first time I have lived far away from my parents.

After one month, I was in the blues. I have faced lots of difficulties such as language barrier, living style, adapting myself to new environment, financial problems, homesickness etc. Despite I already knew that living abroad is hard when I was in Vietnam, but I was unable to imagine the reality.

Beside, there have been many conflicts in our marriage. I can say this was a difficult period, full of challenges for both of us. I used to think about coming back to my country. I used to think about giving up.

Fortunately, we overcame that period and continue to stand together. It does not mean there are no challenges ahead, but I have been stronger and more patient. I am not sure about the future. The marriage is not like the love. The marriage has required us more and more: understanding and respecting for each other.
